24 Learned Lessons
This post is inspired by taking a look inward. I have had the most craziest, funnest, and adventurous year of my life!! So, I thought I would share with you 24 Learned Lessons in my 24 years of life. I hope to encourage you all to take a look at your life and write down your learned lessons (and share them). This is not only going to help you adjust and transform, but can also assist others as they grow 🙂
- Your Mom won’t start to be your bestie until you late teen years
- Never stop practicing your signature, it only brings hope
- It’s okay to cry, even if you are a boy
- Always hug your sibling(s)
- Don’t taste test your mud pies – even if you changed up the recipe
- Start saving your money sooner rather than later
- Set your mind frame to producing, not consuming
- There are multiple ways to success
- Feel your feelings all the way through, at all times
- Pencil your brows
- Pray always
- Don’t ignore the ‘Devil’s Advocate’
- Do something that will encourage you to be cultured- Plan a trip, move, volunteer
- Always absorb direction
- There is no such thing as a soul mate- unless you’re talking about Jesus
- Â Never leave the house with dirty underwear (My granny would be so proud of me for including her wisdom in this post)
- Surround yourself with things/people who will compliment your life
- Value other’s opinions- especially if they love you
- Britney Spears will always be iconic
- You are stronger than you think you are
- More people look up to you than you know
- Communication is key
- Always paint your toe nails
- Spread love
