S A N F R A N, 2020

First trip of 2020 is in the books! It was quick but fun. Left out from Phoenix on a Friday night and came back Sunday night. We stayed in San Fran at the Hotel Whitcomb on Market Street (they just turned that street into a no regular traffic zone which was nice). We went to Sam Fran because Sean’s daughter had a couple of dance auditions. While she was doing

SNOW IN ARIZONA

We moved to Arizona and then it snows! Me and Sean just had to get out and see for ourselves! And as a bonus we got to see beautiful waterfalls from all the snow run-off. It’s always great to get out and go exploring for the day. We didn’t know exactly where we were going to end up on this day ( that’s always the best part!) and it turns

CACTI NEEDLES & DOGGIE BREATH

I thought that I would share some photos with you that I took while hiking with a great friend of mine Cara  She is traveling the United States the entire year of 2019. She literally sold all of her belongings, quit her job, and bought an RV. You should def follow her journey because she is a force to be reckoned with! It’s only January and she has already met

NEW BEGINNINGS

Holy crap a lot has been going on! And I wanted to share with you, my online family. Sean got a new job and we have moved from Saint George, UT to Tempe, AZ! It all happened so fast! I’m glad that I am getting out of my comfort zone more and more every day. The apartment we got is beautiful and meets all of our needs. Well almost, I

A DAY TRIP IN SOUTHERN UTAH

A few months ago Sean and my Dad surprised me by flying my Dad in to spend a week with me! It was the best- and much needed!! The three of us took a day trip to Lake Powell, Glen Canyon Dam, and then took the long way home. Here are some photos of Souther Utah from that day… There really isn’t anything quite like a sunset in Southern Utah!

MOAB, UTAH + 5 THINGS

Another GREAT mini vacation to Moab, Utah. It’s one of Sean’s favorite spots to camp at. However, it’s not the ordinary camping location. Most of the camping is built around the town, so you have the option to cook food at your camp site or go get food. It may seem more like ‘glamping’ and not real camping, but there are so many signature restaurants and cafés that we love

JEEPING IN CALIFORNIA

Here are some randoms of our jeep during our California road trip. I’m so grateful to Sean for driving. I’m not comfortable with the manual so I didn’t drive at all. It was a 10 hour drive just to get to California. We put 2,500 miles on the Jeep in total!! Every single mile was worth it! You can follow Sean on INSTAGRAM for more Jeep content. He is so knowledgable so

FALL IN UTAH

One of the hardest things living in Southern Utah for me is there aren’t as many ‘seasons’ as there is in Kentucky. I am constantly saying to Sean “I need grass in the yard… Where are the clouds at?…When is it going to rain?” and it’s because I grew up in Kentucky where the state is in a new season every week, haha. So, I got creative and went up

LAKE TAHOE, CALIFORNIA

Ugh, this is really a lake?!?!? This was another first for me on our Northern Cali Road trip 🙂 It was super windy; super cold- Sean didn’t even want to walk around but I couldn’t miss out! I even took my shoes off (which isn’t a surprise!) I had seen a lot of photos about Lake Tahoe on Pinterest or Instagram and told myself that it really didn’t look that

WE FOUND A GHOST TOWN

If you are caught up on the blog, and my Instagram, you know that my Dad flew over from Kentucky to come visit me a while back! Every morning we would have breakfast and talk about what we wanted to do for the day and how much fun the day before was. One morning my dad was talking about how he wants to see a ghost town so badly. I

RED WOODS, CALIFORNIA

There really isn’t anything that can compare to the Red Woods of California! This was Sean’s second time visiting since he was a child, but this was a first for me. Our Northern California road trip was so much fun! And this portion is something that I will never forget, but it be the hardest part to describe for people who have never been there. And since coming back from

SAN FRAN ZOO DAY
