A DAY TRIP IN SOUTHERN UTAH

A few months ago Sean and my Dad surprised me by flying my Dad in to spend a week with me! It was the best- and much needed!! The three of us took a day trip to Lake Powell, Glen Canyon Dam, and then took the long way home. Here are some photos of Souther Utah from that day… There really isn’t anything quite like a sunset in Southern Utah!

GLYMED PLUS

GLYMED PLUS SKINCARE With the mixture of celebrity skincare lines, beauty subscription boxes and YouTube beauty routine videos I thought it was time to share with you what I suggest when it comes to skincare. You might be thinking ‘why’ and my answer to that is because I am actually LICENSED to give this advice! There are not enough skincare professionals ‘known’ in the social media industry! I have been

MOAB, UTAH + 5 THINGS

Another GREAT mini vacation to Moab, Utah. It’s one of Sean’s favorite spots to camp at. However, it’s not the ordinary camping location. Most of the camping is built around the town, so you have the option to cook food at your camp site or go get food. It may seem more like ‘glamping’ and not real camping, but there are so many signature restaurants and cafés that we love

JEEPING IN CALIFORNIA

Here are some randoms of our jeep during our California road trip. I’m so grateful to Sean for driving. I’m not comfortable with the manual so I didn’t drive at all. It was a 10 hour drive just to get to California. We put 2,500 miles on the Jeep in total!! Every single mile was worth it! You can follow Sean on INSTAGRAM for more Jeep content. He is so knowledgable so

FALL IN UTAH

One of the hardest things living in Southern Utah for me is there aren’t as many ‘seasons’ as there is in Kentucky. I am constantly saying to Sean “I need grass in the yard… Where are the clouds at?…When is it going to rain?” and it’s because I grew up in Kentucky where the state is in a new season every week, haha. So, I got creative and went up

LAKE TAHOE, CALIFORNIA

Ugh, this is really a lake?!?!? This was another first for me on our Northern Cali Road trip 🙂 It was super windy; super cold- Sean didn’t even want to walk around but I couldn’t miss out! I even took my shoes off (which isn’t a surprise!) I had seen a lot of photos about Lake Tahoe on Pinterest or Instagram and told myself that it really didn’t look that

WE FOUND A GHOST TOWN

If you are caught up on the blog, and my Instagram, you know that my Dad flew over from Kentucky to come visit me a while back! Every morning we would have breakfast and talk about what we wanted to do for the day and how much fun the day before was. One morning my dad was talking about how he wants to see a ghost town so badly. I

RED WOODS, CALIFORNIA

There really isn’t anything that can compare to the Red Woods of California! This was Sean’s second time visiting since he was a child, but this was a first for me. Our Northern California road trip was so much fun! And this portion is something that I will never forget, but it be the hardest part to describe for people who have never been there. And since coming back from

SAN FRAN ZOO DAY

We are ready for the zoo! But, first… The Golden Gate Bridge!! Okay, now on to the zoo. I’m really sad I wasn’t able to get a pick with a giraffe 🙁 but, I have a vid on HERE if you would like to see more from the zoo! OUTFIT DETAILS: Sweater and jewls is from Shein. Pants and top from PacSun

FALL IN CALIFORNIA

FINALLY!! I finally got to go on a Northern California road trip. For the longest time I have been begging Sean to go on a Norther, Mid, and Southern California road tip. One down- two to go! It was a long drive but it was SO worth it. We had the best time! We spent time in San Fran, going to the zoo, visiting the bridge, Lake Tahoe, driving down

Via Feratta Trail- Big Water, Utah

What can I say? Another adventure, another day! This was climb/hike was my first time with a rope! I have only ever gone bouldering and that was with Sean. This wasn’t advanced, however I learned a lot about how much I trust myself, the wind was super powerful! Hope you enjoy these snapshots as much as I do!

Shafer Trail, Utah

It turns out that Shafer Trail is an iconic trail in our nation. I wouldn’t have known that if a friend didn’t tell me about it. Ironically enough, she visited Moab, Utah (see earlier posts about my trip to Moab) the week before my vacation there. She was going to drive the trail while she was visiting but it was too late at night for the 20 mile tail, but insisted
